After completing his master's in Philosophy and Sociology Mr Akshat Shetty is currently serving as a Event Executive at Somaiya Sports Academy. He has spent over a decade teaching at Wilson College and S.K. Somaiya College of Arts, Sciences, and Commerce and has hands-on experience of over four years in charge of sports and sports operations at S.K. Somaiya College.

A former football player, Mr Shetty has competed for over eight years for some of the best clubs in Mumbai and Karnataka. At Somaiya Sports Academy, he plans, hosts, and coordinates sporting events and provides participants and budding athletes with exceptional sporting experiences, nurturing the next generation of Indian sports talent.
